Check with your sixth grade daughter about the sign-up form for the Mad Girls Science and Mad Girls Robotics/Coding Clubs handed out at school today. These clubs meet Friday afternoons from 3:20-4:30 p.m.
In the Science Club, girls can get a head start preparing for the Montgomery County Science Fair, form a team to enter the Toshiba/Exploravision online competition, or just have fun trying experiments and activities we don't have time for in the regular science curriculum.
In the Robotics/Coding Club, students have fun programming LEGO Mindstorm robots and develop coding skills working with many different programs. The science club begins September 16 and the robotics/coding club begins October 7.
