This weekend marks the beginning of post season play for the Panthers! Be sure to come out and cheer on Holton!
On Saturday, October 29 the cross country team will compete in the ISL Championships at the Agricultural History Farm Park in Derwood, MD. The JV race begins at 12:45 p.m. and the varsity race begins at 2:30 p.m. Click here to check out pictures of the cross country team in action.
Varsity tennis is also gearing up for a championship run after finishing the regular season in first place in the AA Division of the ISL. They will take on Flint Hill School, in the first round of the ISL Championships. The match take place at Holton at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1. If they win, they will advance and host the next round at Holton on Wednesday, November 2 at 3:00 p.m. The ISL AA Championships will be held on Thursday, November 3 at 3:00 p.m. at Flint Hill. Varsity volleyball had a strong finish to their season, finishing in second place of the AA Division of the ISL. They will take on Sandy Spring School, in the first round of the ISL Championships. The game will be at Holton at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 3. If they win, they will advance and host the next round at Holton on Friday, November 4 at 4:30 p.m. The ISL AA Championships will be held on Sunday, November 6 at 12:00 p.m. at Episcopal High School. Varsity soccer also earned home field advantage for the ISL A tournament. They will take on St. Stephen's St. Agnes, in the first round of the ISL Championships. The game will be at Holton at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2. If they win, they will advance and host the next round on Friday, November 4. Varsity field hockey is also gearing up for ISL championships after an impressive year in the ISL. Monday they take on Visitation in their final regular season game. Once all of the regular season games are completed Holton will have a clear view of the championship bracket and where they are seeded. They will start their quest for a championship at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, November 2. If they win, they will play two more rounds before advancing to the championship game on Sunday, November 6 at 1:00 p.m. at Episcopal High School.
