On February 4, 2017, Claire Bordley Berg '04 was inducted to the U.S. Lacrosse Potomac (D.C.) Chapter Hall of Fame at the University Club of Washington, D.C.
At Holton-Arms, Berg was three-time All-American (2002, 2003, 2004), two-time team captain (2003, 2004), recognized as a first team All-Met Lacrosse player, and was a four year letter winner in soccer (team captain 2003) and basketball (team captain 2003 and 2004). She is one of the few student-athletes to be awarded the prestigious Suzanne Bailey Athletic Award twice, both in 2003 and 2004. Berg also won a world title as a member of the 2003 USL Women's U19 team, which won the World Cup. While attending University of Virginia for her undergraduate studies, Berg was designated as an All-American player and participated in the North/South All-Star Game.
After all of her accomplishments on the lacrosse field, she still remains involved in the sport through coaching at The Potomac School and Capital Lacrosse Club. Berg, along with other alumnae, will be inducted into Holton's Athletic Hall of Fame on April 21, 2017.
