French teacher Ms.Bosc and Math teacher Ms. King organized a STEM event called "The Math and Art of Origami" where the girls learned how to make origami ornaments while also learning about the figures and shapes within these objects. This creative STEM event all benefited the American Museum of Natural History in New York City. The museum will receive the origami ornaments made here at Holton and display them at the yearly holiday tree at the American Museum of Natural History. "The Origami Holiday Tree" exhibit will be on from November 21, 2016 - January 8, 2017. The tree is sponsored by OrigamiUSA and will be themed "Dinosaurs Among Us." Take a trip to New York City and go check it out over the holiday season!
