Greetings All,
We celebrate the end of an abbreviated week with the arrival of our first weekend of the year. There was an opportunity to share a few thoughts earlier today*, so I will make this edition a quick one. Provisions are in place for our upcoming weekend activities. For everyone participating in the Middle School Winter Dance this evening , we wish you a very warm and enjoyable time.
If you have a moment in the upcoming days, please feel free to say hello to Jeff Bedford. We once again proudly welcome him to the Holton-Arms community as our new Director of Campus Safety.
The weekend building hours for January 6-7, 2018 are posted below.
Have a safe and enjoyable one my friends.
Ken

*A Wintry Start to 2018
Greetings All,
A frigid beginning to 2018 is welcoming all of us back to campus today. I hope that your morning is going well as I share a few notes with you.
Current Campus Conditions
I know that everyone will gladly join me in thanking our colleagues from the Facilities Department . We certainly appreciate their efforts that were directed towards clearing the campus during our snowfall yesterday. The same words of advice from the past continues into this season. While on campus, please be cautious while driving and walking. The traditional encouragement on wearing appropriate footwear should remain a prominent objective.
We recognize that although surfaces have been thoroughly treated, problem spots can still arise due to the extreme temperatures. Should you encounter any such areas, please do not hesitate to contact the front desk. These types of conditions can place extra stress on many components including infrastructures. Accordingly, if your particular room appears abnormally cold (or hot), please inform us of that. Engineers are working diligently to make our interior as comfortable as possible during these extraordinary weather periods.
Due to the current conditions we will abstain from displaying the campus flags today.
Thank you my friends and have a great afternoon.
Ken
