On January 15, 2018, our Lower School students honored the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by making and donating sandwiches to Martha's Table. Martin Luther King Day is regarded as a National Day of Service and our girls honored that charge in donating around 1,800 sandwiches to families through Martha's Table. Martha's Table is an organization that supports families by providing healthy meals, sharing educational programs, and offering supportive services to different communities in the Washington, D.C. area. This community effort is a tenet of one of Dr.King's values and that is to always serve others.
