Nicole Powell '22 and her brother, Shawn (who attends Landon), won a gold medal in the All Level 8 Mixed Pairs at the Vegas Acro Cup. The Vegas Acro Cup is a three day competition with competitors from over eight countries showing their impressive skills for medals in Las Vegas. Nicole and Shawn were able to land a medal among the competition and are planning to continue their hard work in the gym and move up a level before hitting the big stage at Nationals in July.
