Wow, we had Halloween, Holton Athletic achievements and a Cubs World Series Championship in one glorious week. I hope that your Friday has gone well. We are very aware of the busy weekend ahead as we prepare for Open House 2016. I want to thank the very kind folks in the Admissions Office for all of the valuable information they provided regarding that upcoming event. With respect to personal belongings, once again please feel free to check bags and other items at the front desk. The protocols will be the same as in past years providing for the check-in of items and subsequent retrieval upon your departure. If your office or classroom will not be a part of the Open House landscape, please take a moment to properly secure your room. While we remain a warm and openly inviting campus, we also represent a community that is engaged and enlightened. We are expecting a potential record number of visitors to our campus on Sunday. Accordingly, we are requesting your assistance in utilizing off-campus parking (Primary Day School) and the accompanying shuttle service. No worries my friends for in the end we will have a very successful day.
The weekend building hours for November 5-6, 2016 are posted below. These specific building hours are impacted by the events of the weekend so please note the special times and notes. We recognize that some early preparations will begin on Sunday and provisions are in place for those arrivals. The doors to the building will officially open at 10:00 a.m. on that day.
In closing, please do not forget to set your clocks back one hour this weekend as we end Daylight Savings Time. Believe me by Monday morning that extra hour of sleep will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for all of your assistance and we look forward to seeing you on Sunday.
