Today marks the beginning of championship weekend for lacrosse, softball and track and field. After a strong season, varsity lacrosse earns home field advantage in the first round of the playoffs. They will take on Potomac home at 5:30 p.m. today, May 11 in the first round of playoffs. If they win, they will advance to take on the winner of St. Stephen's & St. Agnes and Bullis at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 13 in the semi-finals. The AA lacrosse championships will be held on Monday, May 15 at 5:30 p.m. at Holton. Please be sure to check the lacrosse team page for the most up to date times and locations.
Varsity softball is also gearing up for championship weekend after an impressive year in the AA Division of the ISL. Although softball earned home field advantage, all league playoff games will be played on a turf at a neutral site. Softball will play their first round game at St. Andrews against St. Stephen's & St. Agnes at 5:00 p.m today, Friday, May 12. If they win, they will advance and play on Saturday, May 13 at 12:00 p.m. in the semi-finals against the winner of Sidwell and Visitation. The AA softball championships will be held on Sunday, May 14 at 1:00 p.m. at Flint Hill. Please be sure to check the softball team page for the most up to date times and locations.
