Walking on liquid, building a motor, and standing inside a massive soap bubble were just a few of the exciting, hands-on activities available at the school's first-ever Holton Alive Science, held this past weekend. Holton community members of all ages came out to see jaw-dropping, mind-blowing demonstrations, tinker with cool things, and play scientist for the afternoon.
Upper School students planned and led the day, with guidance by science teacher Chris Lee. A number of Holton's STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) programs and groups were on hand to showcase their work as well, including Mad Girls Science Club, the Robotics Team and Chemathon.
