The 2019 National Merit Scholarship Program recognized 10 Holton seniors as Commended Students: Arshia Arora, Isabel Beariault, Stephanie Hong, Elise Knutsen, Ava Mendelsohn, Noor Mobarek, Kelly O'Connor, Grace Wu, Elizabeth Zampella, and Yalda Zarrabi. These young women performed in the top 3 percent of the 1.6 million students who took the 2017 PSAT.
Isabel Beariault was also named a National Hispanic Recognition Program Scholar, placing among the top 2.5 percent of Hispanic and Latino PSAT test-takers in the region.
The school honored these students at an Upper School assembly on Oct. 3, where they received their certificates from Head of School Susanna Jones and Upper School Director Chris Lynch.
