Celebrate "The Circle of Life" as over 50 students from both schools join together to perform this majestic musical. Follow the journey of Simba (Lily Muhlbaum '22 & Bryce Savoy, Landon '21) a young lion growing up in the African pridelands under the watchful eye of his parents King Mufasa (James Harrington, Landon '21) and Queen Sarabi (Josephine Starks '21) assisted by their faithful majordomo Zazu (Maggie Brett-Major '22). When jealous uncle Scar (Allie Stroman '21) forms an alliance with hyenas Banzai, Shenzi and Ed (Celina Fratzscher '21, Coby Shrensky, Landon '21 & Anushka Dar '21) to assassinate Mufasa, Simba flees to the jungle where he is taken in by Timon the Meerkat (Campbell Magruder '21) and Pumbaa the Warthog (CJ O'Rourke, Landon '22). The pridelands depleted by the hyena horde, Lioness Nala (Nyla Jones '22 & Tess Armstrong '21) bids farewell to her mother Sarafina (Ema Nakayama '21) and ventures into the jungle to find food. When she meets her old friend Simba again, she and the wise baboon Rafiki (Brielle Herlein '21) convince Simba to return and reclaim his rightful place in the kingdom.
